HKBN Ltd., a prominent Hong Kong-based Internet, communication, and telecommunication company, is widely recognized through its subsidiary, Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited.
Project Overview
This project focuses on a one-page redesign, specifically honing in on the user-centric aspect of self-selecting monthly plans. In light of extensive competitor research, the goal is not to overhaul the product but to fortify how it is presented to clients. The existing UI/UX of the HKBN Sim card product page posed challenges—15 different plans made it cumbersome for users to compare. The objective is to rebrand the sim card plans and revamp the selection flow, empowering users with a sense of autonomy—akin to offering a basic plan as a foundation, with the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade components.
Discovery Phase
The discovery phase delved into a meticulous user analysis of the existing website, highlighting gaps in information that made it difficult for clients to understand the advantages of various plans.

Lack of satisfaction: Messy content layout on the existing website.

Final Deliverables
UX Design on Monthly Plan Selection
The UX design phase materialized in the creation of a customizable form for users to tailor their mobile plans. Options include choosing internet speed, monthly BG quota, and adding Greater Bay Area data. Noteworthy benefits, such as 14 days of free Global SIM travel data, global talk+ (free client calls back to Hong Kong), and HKBN Safe, were incorporated into the form to accentuate their value to users.
